Studio Rewild will revolutionize the screen time conversation in the 21st century. Shifting away from screens as an inevitable enemy of the outdoors and toward screens as a powerful tool that can cultivate a powerful relationship between children and nature unlike ever before. With a team of childhood, production, biology, music, and innovation/business experts, the studio produces high quality animation and live action television programs targeting children aged 6 - 17.

Programs produced by Studio Rewild are built unapologetically alongside young people. The target audience is engaged at every stage of development from ideation to series finales.

While content about nature has existed for television screens, Studio Rewild goes further with content both explicitly and implicitly in celebration of the natural world. We produce shows that introduce kids to the anatomy of a rhinoceros while also telling the story of an anxious young man who finds his inner spark on walks through the forest guided by a motley crew of monsters. One show inspires a sense of awe in viewers and the other a sense of wonder.

Studio Rewild produces content at the intersection of five disciplines:

Childhood First and foremost, the studio is built on a foundation of shared, interdisciplinary, and researched knowledge about childhood. While we pride ourselves on avoiding academic targets or socioemotional learning objectives, every episode is fueled by the holistic needs of children.

Production Studio Rewild tells beautiful stories, beautifully. With top notch animators, producers, and show runners. Our production process is collaborative at its core bringing together our five elements through every step of the process. Production maintains control of the story telling piece of our puzzle ensuring the end product meets and exceeds the needs of the current television market.

Biology The content produced by Studio Rewild is nerdily accurate and always set in a real place. To make this happen, we constantly work in tandem with a team of biologists to ensure every feather is in the correct place, every fungus is in the correct biome, and every leaf turns at the exact right moment of the season.

Music Where most content has a soundtrack, Studio Rewild creates content with a soundscape carefully curated by a studio master and produced by independent artists from start to finish. Music has immense potential to cultivate emotion and every score of every episode will be thoughtfully built to invite an even deeper relationship between children and the natural world.

Innovation With a tilt toward research and a finger on the pulse of innovation, Studio Rewild would not be able to innovate at the expected pace. Every piece of the company from formation to finale is challenged with a gauntlet of “What Ifs”. What if we went bigger? What if this show was produced with audio only? What if we shot this show entirely from the perspective of a child? “What if” is the life force of Studio Rewild. It is how we remain forward thinking. It is how we fail with purpose, learn, and grow. While every short term and long term member of the team is challenged to innovate, we also intentionally staff a department tasked specifically with innovating.

At the intersection of childhood expertise, divergent production, nerdily accurate biology, thoughtful soundscapes, and innovation through failure lies Studio Rewild and the stories we tell.

While there is competition in the niche market Studio Rewild is targetting, Studio Rewild is well positioned to make a unique name for itself not only in the niche market of nature content but also in the realm of children’s content at large for four reasons.

Cross Discipline Production Studio Rewild is deeply committed to a cross discipline model of production. Our creators are equally focused on each of the five pillars of the studio: production, childhood, music, biology, and innovation.

Child Participation Studio Rewild values the immense creative and professional power in young people and invites them to meaningfully participate not just as talent (as is the case in other studios) but also throughout every production pillar from music scores to animal studies.

Basecamp Model Studio Rewild isn’t a traditional stationary studio—it’s a network of production and learning campuses, each rooted in a distinct natural biome with a skill focus that enhances the studio.

Childhood Basecamp: Grand Marais, MN. Boreal Forests.

Music & Sound Basecamp: Thousand Oaks, CA. Scrubland & Ocean.

Innovation & Business Basecamp: Austin, TX. Grassland & Desert.

Biology Basecamp: Gainesville, FL. Everglades, Swamp, Coastal wetlands

Production Basecamp: Brooklyn, NY. Urban Nature.

While all basecamps will work together, the speciality of each basecamp will be focused and employees will travel among the network of basecamps.

Each basecamp will also serve as a creative community hub where local creators will gain access to coworking spaces, meeting rooms, modern technology, a props workshop, and other shared resources—helping offset real estate costs while fostering collaboration. Every campus will feature a cozy theater for screenings and gatherings, along with regular skill-building workshops open to the community. In this way, Basecamps become more than a workspace—they are where storytelling, learning, and community take root together.

In the end, Studio Rewild isn’t just a dream—it’s a promise. A promise that kids can grow up with stories that make them feel seen, grounded, connected, and brave. A promise that TV can be made with care, curiosity, and real-world wonder baked into every frame. And a promise that the natural world—its messiness, its magic, its small everyday lessons—will always have a place in how we help kids navigate their own lives. Studio Rewild is building something practical and powerful: a home for storytelling that supports children without overwhelming them—inviting imagination, not pressure; presence, not escape. If we can give kids stories that meet them where they are and open the door a little wider, then all of this work—the scripts, the science, the sound, the campuses—will have been worth it. This is where their wild hearts get to rise.
